The Assaulter is an enemy encountered during the events of the 2011 video game, Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

The Assaulter is a quadrupedal Decepticon guardian. Their kind is used to infiltrate and destroy. They don't speak, rather they act similar to guard dogs with growls and roars, acting in a more savage manner.

Assaulters were briefly used by Decepticon forces during an excursion in the South American jungles of Earth. While not playing a large role in overall combat, they were used primarily as guards, with their periodic EMP bursts giving away any potential camouflaged attackers. He was killed through combined efforts of Bumblebee and Mirage.
Trivia[]
- Despite sharing no known canonical ties, the Assaulters greatly resemble Decepticon Hatchet, seen during the events of the film of the same name.
- Hatchet, one of Dreads in third movie could possibly a Decepticon Assaulter.
