Captain Cartwright teamed up with Ironhide that one time!

Captain Cartwright and his men were stationed at the Al Udeid Base in Qatar, where they met up with Ironhide. Cartwright informed Ironhide that he would be working with them instead of Lennox, who had been moved to another assignment. Ironhide was to help Cartwirght take down Scorponok, a loose ends still prowling the desert. Cartwright informed Ironhide that he and other "Special Forces types" stuck together, and as such the man that died under Lennox's command was just as personal for him. When the team headed out into the desert, Ironhide became confused by a series of ghost contacts, and transformed to investigate. Cartwright was too late in informing him on the nature of the signals, and as a result, Scorponok was able to attach himself to Ironhide, and take control of the Autobot's body. Now facing off against Ironhide, Captain Cartwright ordered his men to shoot to disable only. Unfortunately, Ironhide was much tougher than anything the humans could throw at him. Thanks to Darius Gale's sharpshooting skills, the group were able to sever Scorponok's connection, and Ironhide managed to take out Scorponok without any human fatalities.
