Drift is an Autobot Triple Changer in Transformers: Age of Extinction.
Drift is said to be a former Decepticon Samurai who seeks to regain his honour and atone for his crimes. He joins the Autobots after his experience in the war changed his way of thinking.
Drift's alt modes appears to be that of a 2013 Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse and a Sikorsky S-97 Raider helicopter. In TF5 his alt mode is a 2017 "Mercedes-AMG GT R".
As Blue Samurai Helicopter Mode
History[]
Drift was a masterful and skilled Decepticon assassin during Cybertron’s civil war. However he began to see the hypocrisy and tyranny of the Decepticons, with him leaving the faction. Later he came to Earth at an unknown point. He joined the Autobots along with Hound, Crosshairs, and Bumblebee after hearing Optimus’ message.
Autobots reunite:
“At last, there is hope after all!” Drift upon seeing Optimus Prime.
When Optimus called what remaining autobots were left to meet up, Drift went to the meeting point along with his comrades. Sitting atop one of the rock formations he was evidently pleased upon seeing his leader. Transforming into a helicopter and landing behind Hound.
That night while sitting round a fire, Drift lamented to Optimus on how in his absence Bumblebee took command. This irritated the Autobot scout and as such resulted in Drift and Bumblebee having a scuffle. With him ending it by holding Bumblebee at blade point saying “Am I the only one who sees through your puppy dog eyes?” Only to be told off by Optimus.
