Brawl was a Decepticon who loved destroying. Death and Devastation was all Brawl lived for. He was made to kill, and did just that, providing a near unkillable threat to the Autobots. He was also a Combaticon.

"Devastator, reporting…"

Brawl's death

Brawl was one of the Decepticons who came to earth and hiding. Waiting at a military depot, Brawl answered Starscream's order to mobilize. He said he was "reporting" as he rolled out of the depot. He linked up with Bonecrusher and Barricade, but he wandered off somewhere else(Because a tank going on the highway is way too obvious) when Bonecrusher pulled ahead to attack Optimus Prime. Following the death of Bonecrusher, Brawl arrived at Mission City to get the Allspark. Brawl drives right over a set of cars, and the Autobots see him coming. Brawl takes aim at Sam, but the Autobot Jazz jumps on him, pulling his cannon aside, making him miss his shot. Brawl then transformed, getting his left rocket launcher pod knocked off, then throwing Jazz off. Ironhide shot Brawl in the chest, but it did not harm him due to his armor. Ironhide and Ratchet both attacked Brawl, Ratchet cut Brawl's left arm with his buzzsaw, while Ironhide pummeled the tank with bullets. Despite this, Brawl was still unfazed and begins to overpower them. However, after he lost his leg, Bumblebee was put on a Tow Truck driven by Mikaela Banes towards Brawl. Bumblebee scored a lucky shot in a chink in Brawls tight armor, hitting him in his only unprotected spot: his neck. After firing again, Brawl falls down into an old house that Sector Seven were using for cover. Brawl died doing what he loved: destroying.

Brawl's dead body was thrown away into the Laurentian Abyss.

Dark of the Moon[]

Two Decepticons who have the Body Type of Brawl joined the other Decepticons on the attack of Chicago, however Optimus began a mil - long rage, and this Two Decepticons are killed in this Battle.

Toy bios[]

In the final battle, Brawl was saturated with power from the AllSpark rather than killed. Freed from the influence of Megatron, he disappeared into the rugged land around the Hoover Dam. Making his way over the course of months to the most dangerous place on Earth (presumably the Middle East), he adapted his vehicle mode to the new environment and hid from the Autobot patrols. Brawl now gains up energy from the blazing sun and emerges only to satisfy his hunger for destruction by attacking and annihilating anything that comes across him.[1][2]

Hidden deep in the driest desert on Earth, Decepticon Brawl waited for a new Decepticon leader to emerge. Though the Autobots searched for him, they never even came close to finding him. It enraged him that he was forced to hide in defeat. Now that Megatron had returned, he is ready to do battle again, and determined this time to destroy as many Autobots as he can.[3]

Both Ironhide and Decepticon Brawl are among the most experienced and cunning warriors to ever emerge from the fires of the war on Cybertron. The Autobot weapons master is versed in thousands of years of tactical history and strategic thought, while the Decepticon bruiser is a vicious, instinctive fighter, bred for victory. As one hunts the other through the deepest, most desolate desert on Earth, they both contemplate their inevitable conflict, and know that when they finally meet, only one of them will walk away.[4]

Dug in among a lost, shattered field of ruins in the baking desert, Jolt waits, and watches the advancing horde of Decepticon warriors. Each one of them is a devastating war machine, while Jolt is trained more as a healer than a fighter. he focuses his attention on Decepticon Brawl, knowing that if he is cautious and lucky, he might have a chance to bring down the enormous, powerful Decepticon.[5] Apparently Jolt managed to defeat Brawl. Since after their battle, only Brawl did not appear.

Notes[]

  • In the film, Brawl is referred to as "Devastator". He is named as Brawl (except for the novel where it is still referred to as the Devastator) in all media following Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, after the actual Devastator appears in the film.
    • This is due to Michael Bay preferring the name "Devastator" for Brawl according to a fan who attended the Australian press conference sometimes after the movie hit theatres, though Hasbro would consider it a "continuity error".
  • Brawl is listed as one of the Combaticons who formed Bruticus Maximus
  • Brawl spoke one line in the 2007, movie, where he screams, "DECEPTICONS, ATTACK!" Right before he blasted missiles from his rocket launcher.
  • Brawl was killed in the first movie but his Body Type was used in DOTM for two Bots, he have Only in Toyline of DOTM a Appearance which this confuses fans because there shouldn’t be clones of Transformers then again, that isn’t saying much.
  • Brawl's right gatling gun as seen in the promo render would later be revised to have four barrels instead of two for the movies and later all subsequent medias and toys.
  • Brawl's tank mode was actually a reused tank prop from a 2005 film "xXx: State of the Union". The tank prop itself used in Transformers film would remain mostly unchanged aside from an addition of a mine-plow and two missile launchers.
