While chasing after a stray energy trail, Jazz came upon Space Case holding up a gas station, demanding all the Energon its attendant had on-hand. The gas station attendant was suitable confused, and asked Space Case to clarify whether he wanted "regular or unleaded?" Jazz then tackled the Decepticon, and the gas station attendant stared in awe as the two of them tussled. In order to best the much bigger Decepticon, Jazz detonated the whole gas station, taking the gas attendant into his vehicle mode and zipping away from the conflagration. But the blast wasn't enough to stop Space Case, and he quickly caught up to Jazz, forcing the Autobot to fend off his opponent while the human held onto him for dear life. Jazz managed to bury Space Case under a pile of debris, and the now former-gas attendant thanked him for saving his life (and told him not to sweat blowing up the gas station: it was a lousy job anyways!)
