Hound is an Autobot Commando and is Optimus Prime's new second in command in Transformers: Age of Extinction, after Sideswipe's disappearance. In Transformers: The Last Knight he also became the new Medical Officer after Ratchet's death in Transformers: Age of Extinction.

- Skilled Gunman: Hound is skilled with most type of ranged weaponry and guns.
- Excellent Medic: He has good "doctor skills" and can help other Autobots in an emergency. Because he participated in the Second World War under the Medical Service Corps in the United States Army.
