Mearing's aide is always at Director of National Intelligence Charlotte Mearing's side, always ready to provide whatever it is Mearing needs at any point. Though
under-appreciated at times, she can produce just about anything on demand.

As Mearing arrived at NEST Headquarters in Washington, D.C., her aide provided her with a pair of sneakers. When Mearing was later talking to Optimus Prime and asked for "the bag", her aide had to ask for clarification on which bag she meant out of the three the aide was holding. On a later occasion, Mearing handed off Jerry Wang's research to her aide after Sam Witwicky brought it in. Her aide also confirmed that they weren't entrusting national security to teenagers.
After the Decepticons invaded Washington, Mearing's aide and the rest of her staff kept her organized and in communication with the Pentagon. She and her aide went to Florida to see the Autobots off in the Xantium. Mearing's aide stayed by her side while she and Simmons monitored the Decepticon invasion of Chicago.
