First Sergeant Patrick Donnelly was a member of Captain Lennox's US Army Ranger unit, a smart-mouthed Bostonian stationed at SOCCENT Forward Operations Base in Qatar. He is the highest-ranked enlisted man in the unit (the 'top kick', not to be confused with the TopKick). While on the run after the attack on their base in Qatar, he was speared through the chest by Scorponok.
