Captain Samuel L. Walker is a man driven by the need to explore space, a drive which led him to be the first to be assigned to a special Sector Seven project. Though he hopes to get his crew safely back to Earth when the mission is over, he's not afraid to take the tough choices — he knows any mission of this type is dangerous.
