There are probably Decepticons dumber and lower-ranking than Tankor, but it's likely a low number. Then again, he's basically here to blow things up or crush them under his treads, which doesn't require a powerful processor. Just a powerful body and a lot of big guns. Which he's got, oh yes.

At some point, Tankor was captured by the Initiative and put under their control. When the Autobots and NEST assaulted the Initiative's mobile headquarters, he and many other brainwashed Transformers were sent out to defend it. Nefarious #5 The Initiative was defeated, therefore freeing Tankor from their control. Nefarious #6
Tankor joined up with Starscream's crew, and was sent to Philadelphia as part of a massive strike force intent on retrieving the rogue scrap drone called Brains. Rising Storm #2 They found Brains under the protection of several Autobots, and a battle broke out. Tankor was seen blowing stuff up in tank mode and being pestered by Mirage in robot mode. Once it turned out that their mission was really just a diversion arranged by Shockwave to draw attention away from himself, Tankor and the other Decepticons tried to escape, but the Autobots boxed them in. Tankor survived the battle, and disappeared in the chaos once Shockwave's giant tentacle beast appeared and wreaked havoc on the battlefield. Rising Storm #4

Tankor had the power to change his colour from green to silver at will!
Tankor attempted to break into a NEST armoury under the Alamo, but set off every alarm in the place. To get out of this, he took hostages and demanded safe passage...while secretly contacting and waiting for Dirge, intending for the jet to arrive, surprise, and homicide any Autobot that arrived. That Autobot turned out to be Springer, who surprised Tankor with a direct assault! The two robots shot it out until Dirge arrived, at which point the Autobot Jolt jumped Tankor and redirected his cannon towards Dirge. Later, he was one of Bludgeon's fellow prisoners that escaped and formed a splinter cell. Inside Out! He took part in Bludgeon's ambush of NEST forces in Russia, getting shot through the chest for his troubles. Divided Loyalties When Megatron turned up and Bludgeon commanded his forces to fight back against him, Tankor wimped out. But he did apologise for it!
