History[]
Transformers: Dark of the Moon[]
A Ship was about to escape, only to realize a drone launched a missile with multiple homing missiles inside causing the ship to explode and...
That is until the ship was flying above into the air and crashed impact to the moon. Scientists discovered a mysterious ship that was impacted to the moon.
Now the mission is to send the astronauts into the Moon and find several clues of an impacted ship. When searching the ship, a mysterious thing moved evidently, and formed just a circle with left of a middle of it, and it formed a face.
Sometime after the crash, Optimus Prime served Ratchet to go to the mission, in the ship Optimus activates the button which opens in the bottom. Contains Sentinel and the pillars that need to used to activate cybertron and the space bridge.
Sadly later in Washington D.C. Sentinel prepare to activate the space bridge, but Optimus alerted to Sentinel. But it was too late, Sentinel has activated the space bridge.
Activating the space bridge causes the drones, ships and the moon robots dig out of the moon. And prepare to fight. But only to realize there is a teleporter that leads to Washington D.C. causes the city to go chaos, destroys everything in the city.
Later, Sentinel's plan has foiled, and then killed by Optimus for revenge.
Transformers: The Last Knight[]
During Cybertron approached to Earth. The Moon was collapsed by cybertron (but not all of the planet) including the abandoned ship the Ark that was in the Dark Of The Moon.

Transformers: Shadows Rising[]
Five years after the final battle in Chicago, the KSI company was formed. This time, the scientists tried to make their own Transformers after studying Transformium, which succeeded creating Decepticon Clones. They found Megatron's body in Chicago, and tried to analyze him. They managed to rebuild Megatron body, but Megatron then betrayed them.
After betraying them, Megatron fled and flew to the Moon base. Upon arriving, Megatron rebuilt his armies in there. Unbeknowst to him, KSI ordered Lockdown to hunt down him. However, he was killed off-screen by Megatron, this lead Megatron takes his opportunity to take over the Temenos Ship.
Megatron who managed took over the Temenos plane, ordering all the Decepticons to kidnap all scientist and workers that work at KSI headquarters, so he can used them as hostages. Optimus Prime lands on the moon base, while fighting a fake Optimus Prime. Though the fake Optimus Prime was impaled as well as destroyed by Megatron in surprised attacks. Megatron then challenges the intruders who arrive at the moon base, but was defeated by Vanessa and Jake combined efforts. With Megatron defeated, Optimus and his crew were able returning the prisoners to Earth.
Trivia[]
- The moon is also used as the location for the Decepticons' base. These further shown in the third film, when Sentinel Prime open up the space bridges, causing many Decepticons emerged from that place.
- In the Tyran 609.23-PX Kappa, Optimus revived Sentinel Prime on lunar surface not on Earth.
