- There exists a seemingly official piece of concept art for an Ultra Magnus in a style resembling the movieverse's dated November 4, 2008 attributed to the illustration company Massive Black, Inc. This might indicate that Ultra Magnus was considered to have a role in the second live action Transformers film at some point.
- Ultra Magnus was used as an early working name for Sentinel Prime for Dark of the Moon.
- A Game Mod Skin in Ultra Magnus Colors for Optimus Prime exist for the Transformers: The Game PC Version (which is not canon).
